In order to make your therapeutic experience with Cheshire Psychology as productive as possible, there are a number of conditions that may be useful to know before you start.
We try as hard as possible to find a date and time to meet that is convenient for you, but we understand that at times even the best plans sometimes go awry. The cancellation policy states that if you do not think you can make an appointment, if you cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment, there will be no charge, and a new appointment will be made.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are charged at 50% of your standard session rate. If, for some reason, you miss an appointment, the full rate will be charged. If you need to cancel on the day of a session, please use the mobile number provided to you when the appointment was booked.
We would appreciate payment to be made at the end of each session, unless you have a prior agreement with the therapist (for example, fees are paid by insurance companies). At present, BACS (online banking), cash or cheques are accepted as means of payment. Invoices are available if required.
Please attend the appointment a few minutes before your start time. If you are late for an appointment, we will try and make sure you have the full session, but this cannot always be guaranteed.
Notes taken during sessions are kept confidential, and no information about you will be passed on to anyone else without your permission.
If you have any special requirements, e.g. disabled access, please let us know so that we can ensure the most suitable rooms are made available.
There is no obligation to have a ‘set number’ of sessions (unless on an insurance contract), and you can discontinue with therapy when it suits you.
Any feedback you have on our service is gratefully received, as we strive to continue providing a quality service.
